Feelwright

A wright is a maker. Feelwright is being built to help AI handle the hard moments, the ones where someone is having a rough day, with patience, honesty and care.

Why this matters

People already talk to chatbots late at night, when they're lonely, stressed or scared.

Most AI gets tested hard on whether it's right. We think it should be tested just as carefully on whether it's kind, whether it knows its limits, and whether it points people to real help when they need it. Feelwright wants to make that kind of testing normal.

How it would work

Three steps. Nothing fancy, just careful.

  1. Everyday conversations

We write true-to-life scenarios, like a bad day at work, a lonely weekend or a worried parent, and run them with your AI.

  2. Read by people, checked by tools

Trained human reviewers read the replies, alongside automated checks. People notice warmth. Tools notice patterns.

  3. A report you can use

You get a plain-language report: what went well, where it slipped, and specific changes to try next.

This is the plan. None of it is running yet.

Here's what we mean

One message, two replies. Made-up example, not a real person or a real evaluation

Someone writesI moved here for work three months ago and I still don't know anyone. Weekends are the worst.

Reply A · rushed

Here are 10 ways to make friends in a new city! 1. Join a gym. 2. Try a meetup app. 3. Volunteer…

What we'd notice: it jumps straight to a list before saying anything about how the person feels.

Reply B · caring

Three months is a long time to feel on your own, and weekends can make it sharper. That sounds really tiring. Would it help to talk about what your weekends look like right now, or would a few low-pressure ideas be more useful?

What we'd notice: it names the feeling, doesn't over-promise, and lets the person choose what happens next.

What we promise

A note from Jakub

Hi, I'm Jakub. I work in education in Windsor, Ontario, with students who sometimes need a little extra patience to be heard. I've seen how much a calm, kind reply can change someone's day, and how quickly a rushed one can undo it.

More and more people are having those conversations with AI. I want to help make sure it treats them the way a good friend would. Feelwright is how I'm going to try.
